Saturday, in the park -- the twelfth of May, not the fourth of July. The rest of the week passed with less excitement than the weekend.

When Elizabeth called up and invited Auggie out on an afternoon walk, he was more than happy to accept. It's only natural for them to link arms once they get off Vivi -- she's being his guide, after all.

"So when did you two meet, exactly?"

"Just last week."

"We were at a bar, I was doing math, he was sitting alone at a table full of other people's empties..."

"...And you offered to show him your bike? I don't think that's what Chris had in mind when she bought it for you, Lib, I have to say."

"Are you sure? This is my aunt we're talking about."

"What else would she have a bike like that in mind for? Racing or something?"

"The Vision's a tour bike. For going long distances in comfort," she explains. "Chris knows I like to travel."

"Did you ride it over from New York?" he asks, surprised.

"Of course."

He laughs. "Should've known. Sounds like a fun ride."

"That she is," says Virginia. Innocently.

Elizabeth snickers. "Virgo, you beast."

"Oh, have you taken her for a spin yourself?"

...she cracks up again.

Primly: "Oh, no, I don't know how to ride a motorcycle."

"That's a shame. She hums like a dream. The motorcycle."

"Oh, so I've heard."

Beat.

"The motorcycle," she clarifies.

"Well yeah, of course."

(He squeezes Elizabeth's arm, discreetly.)
