Happy Hour at Allen's is, as usual, loud with competing voices and scents, all of which are less important to Auggie than Annie and Jai's laughter and the second beer in front of him.

Well. Almost all. Occasionally Auggie cocks his head at the sound of heels or the floral scent of shampoo and listens to Jai and Annie's reactions. Jai has one chuckle for redheads and another for brunettes, while Annie has a groan for blondes that Auggie is told is rather hypocritical of her.

"Did the last three girls all have tequila, or was it just one carrying enough shots for her whole party?" he wonders.

"The last four," Jai corrects, audibly smirking. "Your nose must be getting tired."

"I don't get it. Cinco de Mayo is tomorrow -- you'd think people could hold off on the faux-Mexican debauchery until Saturday."

He hears Annie sit bolt upright.

"Oh crap, it's Friday, I have a thing with my--"

"Sister," Auggie and Jai chorus with her. Auggie grins, in spite of the dirty look he's sure she's giving him, and adds, "Jai, you owe me ten bucks."

Jai sighs and digs in his pockets. "Which ought to just about cover your cab ride." He slaps the money onto the table at Auggie's ten o'clock. "Annie, I'll walk you to your car, I'm headed that way."

"Now there's a Pyrrhic victory," Auggie says, with a sigh of his own. "Annie, did he really give me a ten?"

"Yes!" Annie says, laughing, and squeezes his shoulder as she stands. "You're so paranoid."

"I'm wounded that you don't trust me," Jai agrees, also standing.

"You'll heal, I'm sure. Have a good weekend, you two. Don't do anything I wouldn't do."

"Same to you, Auggie," Jai says, with an eyeroll crystal-clear in his voice.

"That'll be a boring weekend, then," Auggie calls after Jai's cologne and Annie's heels, then turns back to his beer. Now where is he going to find a ride with all these tequila-soaked early birds?

She settles into a rhythm, then, humming contentedly.

Frankly, he may not last very long. His self-control is not infinite, and between the motorcycle ride and making her come in his lap, he's been using up a lot of his patience.

The first outward sign of this is a loud, ragged moan.

That's fine. That's more than fine. She likes the way he moans.

She likes the way he says her name, too. It makes her feel like a genuine Elizabeth.

That's not a line of thought to dwell on; lucky she has such a delicious mouthful to occupy her attention.

He arches his back, still working very hard at not thrusting into her mouth.

"Elizabeth I'm really close, shit -- where do you want it?"

She purrs and slides her mouth down over him again.

Is that a clear enough answer?

"Fuck," Auggie gasps. He thrusts shallowly.

Curling her tongue against him, she hums.

He thrusts again, and again, picking up speed.

Finally he lets out a strangled curse, arches his back, and comes, groaning.

Elizabeth makes a contented noise, pulls away slowly, and rests her head in his lap for a moment.

"Nnnmmmf."

Panting, he strokes her hair.

"Shit."

She laughs, twists her head around to kiss his fingers, and climbs back up onto the couch.

That gets an answering laugh out of him. He drapes an arm around her shoulders and tucks her up against his side, kissing her hair.

"That was fun," she says, idly running her hand up and down his chest. She quite likes his chest.

"Hell yes it was." He nuzzles her hair again, inhaling the scent of her shampoo.

"I'm gonna need a few minutes."

"I'll take that as a compliment." She chuckles.

"It really really is."

He finds her mouth and kisses her lightly.

She kisses back, slow and sweet, tasting of him.

He strokes her jaw with two fingers.

"You swallow, huh?" he breathes against her lips. "How do I taste?"

"Mmmm." Kiss. "We make quite a pair, then."

"Damn right," Elizabeth agrees.

"Like peanut butter and chocolate." He wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her into his lap again, grinning. "Which one do you want to be?"

While she decides he's going to eat her shoulder (gently -- no marks, still).

"I am definitely chocolate," she says, snuggling up.
