Your equation seems to say that the chance of a hookup increases with the amount of time since the last one but decreases with the number of available prospects and the time since you got out of a relationhship. Except that if you broke up with your last long-term partner an hour ago and there are no hot single ladies with brains in the bar, your chance of hooking up with somebody becomes infinite."
