Laughing, he gets up and heads for the bathroom. (He retrieves his rum along the way, takes a swig, and puts the rest back on the kitchen counter.)
Once his face is clean, he runs a hand through his hair to put it back in its usual state of mess, then goes into the bedroom, trailing his fingers along the wall.
